Ebay Business Policies: How to set up your store with Shipping, Returns, and Payment options
In this video I'll guide you through the ebay business policy options to help you operate your store the way YOU want. I'll show you step by step how to find the policies, what they mean, and how to set them up. This is a long video, but I go into detail about each option so you can make the right choice for your reselling business. This video includes:
Shipping Policies: Why you may need several shipping policies. Flat vs. calculated. Free shipping vs buyer paid. USPS and UPS options. Estimated shipping weight and size vs actual. Adding handling fees. How to offer combined shipping.
Return Policies: Returns or no returns? Free returns? What are INADS?
Payment Policies: Managed payments and auction payment settings
I'll also show you how to alter policies(combine, reassign, & delete) selling preferences, how to use vacation mode, how to opt in/out of the global/international shipping program.
This video is dense, and the best way I think to utilize this video is to follow along on your computer and set up your store as I am showing you. The video is sorted into chapters on each topic, so you can skip to the section you'd like if needed. If this is your first time watching, I highly recommend watching the whole way through first and then going back to any areas you need to review.
