Some eBay sellers are oblivious to where they stand when it comes to being a seller on the platform. The reality is, eBay share holders are at the top of the totem pole, followed by the buyer and the seller sits at the very bottom of the heirarchy. As sellers we don't have to like this, however we as sellers should know where we stand in this entire equation and understand as long as we sell on the platform, eBay knows we can't do anything about it. In this video I give a few examples (I am sure there are more I did not mention) where sellers are punished for handling certain tasks from a 50% deduction on a buyer return to extremely buggy software that will not allow you to type in a basic sentence without frustration). This is the state of eBay in 2026 and it will take more than another eBay Open to prove otherwise.
