I Tried Selling Digital Products on Etsy for One Year (Realistic Results)

When I first opened my Etsy shop, I really thought I was gonna hit $10K/month pretty fast — especially since I’m a graphic designer and had seen all those “Etsy success story” videos. Spoiler: that didn’t happen. 😅 But honestly, what I did gain this past year has been way more valuable — clarity, experience, and real insight into how selling digital downloads on Etsy actually works. In this video, I’m breaking down my first 12 months running a digital product shop — the wins, the fails, and everything in between.

I’m also sharing 6 of the biggest lessons I learned about Etsy SEO, creating listings that actually sell, and the mindset shifts that helped me keep going even when sales were slow. Whether you're starting your Etsy side hustle, looking for beginner Etsy tips, or curious about building a passive income stream through print on demand, this is for you. If you're tired of hype and want honest Etsy advice, hit play — and maybe hit subscribe if you're into chill, real-time learning from someone figuring it out as he goes.
